Plank is very similar to push-ups but a little bit easier than it. In the plank, you also have to use your body weight. You just have to put your all body weight on your palms as well as elbows.

This exercise can help you strengthen your upper as well as lower body and it is also very beneficial in getting faster results.

Steps to do Plank:

Step 1: Lie straight on the floor with your face down.
Step 2: Touch your palm and elbows to the floor.
Step 3: Raise yourself by putting all your weight on your hands and elbows.
Step 4: Hold your body upwards and straight.

If this seems very easy to you try to do it with the help of a fitness ball.

Cardio Exercises:

Cardio workouts are an important component of your health and wellbeing. You do not have to spend hours at the gym to maintain your cardiovascular health and lose weight in the process.

You can implement an effective cardio workout at home, even if you do not have a lot of space or equipment to do so.

1. Dance:

Yes, you read it right, dance is a very special art that can make your cardiovascular muscles more powerful and make your heart more strong.

Also, dance is clinically proven to give mental relaxation as while dancing some hormones that eject from our body give our mind happiness and reduces stress.

2. Running On the Stairs

Running on the stairs will help in increasing your stamina as well as will develop your leg muscles and cardiovascular muscles.

Running and climbing both exercises are combined while Running upstairs so it provides double benefits than doing one thing alone.

3. Jogging in a place:

Jogging is very beneficial for your heart. But during the quarantine, you cannot go outside and jog.
Don't worry you can still jog while being at home just stand in one place and start jogging while being in one place.
Yeah, it seems a little bit boring but you can mix it up with other exercises and enjoy your cardio.

Mental fitness:

Yoga and meditation are the simplest methods to reduce your stress and calm your soul and mind.
It lets you relax in the peace of silence around you.
Meditating 15 minutes daily can develop your mind and helps you tackle various situations with a calm mind.

"A calm mind is like still water 'clear', but a disturbed and stressful mind is like the water in which a stone is thrown."

Yoga like Hatha asana(poses) are a great way to stretch your body as well as relax your mind.
Suryanamaskara is a very old yoga that is equal to do 20 pushups, 1-minute plank, and 5minutes of meditation.

Meditation is the method to make your mind relax and be at the present neither thinking of the wrong things that happened in the past or what could be wrong in future, but it means to be at present
So if you sit at one place and start to sense the things and feel the things with all your senses open towards the things happening around you like just sit at the chair and feel the wind blowing, the sounds that are coming, the smell you get in the air and don't react to it just feel it.
It is also a type of meditation and trusts me it is a very good way and practical way to make your mind to think in the present and see the real world around you instead of living in the regret of the doings of past or be always negative by thinking what could go wrong with you.
